Crowd Fund Your Life Meeting

Let me start off by asking you; if you had an extra $700, $1000, or $2000 a month in extra residual income; how would that change your life?

What would you do with that extra money?

These good causes and many more are things are something we all have in common.

Probably one of the most recognizable crowdfunding ventures of the last generation was the Jerry Lewis MDA Labor Day weekend tel-thon which began in 1966 and by it’s end in 2009 had raised 2.45 billion dollars for MDA.   Another example is the bi-yearly donation campaigns that local PBS stations run.

So now we know what crowdfunding is.  Where does bitcoin come you might ask at this point.    Well bitcoin is the medium being used for donations.   If you are person unfamiliar with Bitcoin. It is a decentralized currency, meaning it is not owned by any bank or government.   Two parties can transfer funds without having to utilize a third party like a bank, paypal, or credit card company.

Microsoft’s legendary co-founder Bill Gates has spoke at the Sibos 2014 financial-services industry conference in Boston, reiterated his stance on cryptocurrencies when he delivered the event’s closing keynote address, in which he stated that, in the future, financial transactions will eventually “be digital, universal and almost free.” He was also quoted saying at this event that ” Bitcoin is better than currency.”    To Read more of Bill Gates thoughts follow this link
